New Baby

A card for a very dear friend of mine who has just had her 2nd baby, can't wait to go see them.

Birthdays Galore

I have lots of birthdays this month and next so here are a few of the cards I have made, what a cute stamp by Sarah Kay, accompanied with My Minds Eye papers.
This is for our eldest daughters partner, not sure he likes giraffes but I do, and have lots of stamps but never use them, we are very proud of Malcolm, he is now a qualified lawyer and has this week started his first job as a fully qualified professional indemnity lawyer. Go Mal!!!

This is for my Nephews daughter in Texas, cannot believe she will be one already

The above is using my greetings farm stamps, nesties, handmade flowers, the centre one using the stamp of craft stamper from the Jan issue, stampin up papers and martha stewart punch

This one is using an image borrowed from a friend with K and Co papers, a Martha Stewart punch and handmade flowers.

Monday 31 January 2011

Told you February was busy, here is another card for an 18th birthday we are going to on the 11th, the flowers are all handemade, stamped and coloured and took ages, the papers are Tim Holtz, which I love and the little girl stamp I adore, my daugther bought me this set for my birthday last year and they are my favourite.

Mr friend Judith called the other day and she brought a beautiful card she had made following a visit to embsay crafts and a demo from craftwork cards, I loved the idea so have adapted it to suit my style and hey presto 2 more birthday cards, February is a busy month.

Made this today for a friends birthday using freebie stamps from a magazine by Molly Bloom, papers and ribbons from my scrap box and a flower made from a stamped image borrowed from a pal a long time ago.

Wednesday 3 November 2010

Saw this on the front of this months craft stamper and just had to have a go, despite having a house full all weekend I asked John to make me the circle and spent the time planning and then started on Monday, I have always wanted to make a wreath but am totally useless with real flowers so this suited me just great, I have not done it in xmas colours so that I can keep it up all year round. I have used Tim Holtz tattered florals and hero arts stamps for the flowers plus roses from a handmade template, I have also used cuttlebug embossing folders, felt and metal.

Girly Card

Today is the first day I have crafted in ages. Mum came here for the day so I was able to play. Knew I had to make a card for my daughters friends 21st birthday so decided to use a stepper card, I find it gives me more inspiration. The little girl and bench are on 3d foam so stand out nicely. The stamp is one out of a new set that my eldest daughter bought me for my birthday, the flowers are from a new set by Hero Arts which I treated myself too at the Stampman demo weekend.
Am quite pleased with the overall result and know Chrissie will love it as she is a real girly girl who loves Pink.
