Saw this on the front of this months craft stamper and just had to have a go, despite having a house full all weekend I asked John to make me the circle and spent the time planning and then started on Monday, I have always wanted to make a wreath but am totally useless with real flowers so this suited me just great, I have not done it in xmas colours so that I can keep it up all year round. I have used Tim Holtz tattered florals and hero arts stamps for the flowers plus roses from a handmade template, I have also used cuttlebug embossing folders, felt and metal.

Girly Card

Today is the first day I have crafted in ages. Mum came here for the day so I was able to play. Knew I had to make a card for my daughters friends 21st birthday so decided to use a stepper card, I find it gives me more inspiration. The little girl and bench are on 3d foam so stand out nicely. The stamp is one out of a new set that my eldest daughter bought me for my birthday, the flowers are from a new set by Hero Arts which I treated myself too at the Stampman demo weekend.
Am quite pleased with the overall result and know Chrissie will love it as she is a real girly girl who loves Pink.

Bingo Boards

Here are a couple of bingo boards that I decorated some time ago, one was for my Dad and hangs on their kitchen wall and the other sits on my craft desk. I have not been able to do any crafting lately as my Dad is very ill and is now coming to the end of his 2nd week in hospital (with no sign of him leaving yet) and didnt want to leave the blog with no activity. Also, it is my friends birthday tomorrow and she lives in Stafford and I have sent her a bag of crafting goodies included is a bingo board and pad, she may not have seen one done before so I have given her my blog address so she can have a look. It was lucky my good pal Janet kept telling me to take pictures of things I have been making for when I got time to set up a blog, she is a clever lady!
Not the best of photos, I will try better next time,

My secrets out

Went shopping on Monday with my daughter and bought this key plaque from the pound shop and have turned it into this
It has taken me a few days but I finally got there, had a nightmare with colour matching but finally finished it this morning, a nice craft job to take my mind off other things. Hope you like.

Managed another page this morning. They don't normally get made this fast but this album of my parents old photos is being done again after it was ruined in the fire, I managed to take photos before it was thrown away, so the layouts are similar but the products are new. Today I have used two of my new journal stamps from Hero Arts, bought from Stampman, I love journalling stamps and have to confess I have collected quite a few! The actual journalling is not finished as I have to check with my mum that I have the names right. The little pearls on the corners of the vellum cover the glue and are also in the centre of the flowers. The metal charm is a butterfly which in the picture looks like binoculars!!!

Got to go food shopping this afternoon, which will make the shoulder bad so wont be doing any more crafting today.

This page has been sat on my desk for a few days waiting for inspiration to strike to finish it, which came this morning in the form of a free stamp on the Craft Stamper. The black ones have been embossed with clear powder on black to match the handmade frames around the pictures which does not show up too well on the photo. The chipbard frame has been inked with Distress Inks and sprayed with Gold Blonde Moments Pearl Pigments. Another one for the album only 15 more to go.

Scrapbooking

My latest scrapbook pages. I am making a Heritage Book of photos from Johns family. These 3 pages are all of his Dad as a child. I have used Tim Holtz papers for the bases along with stamps and chipboard and fragments and bits of stuff really. I like to keep my pages simple, bit like me - lol

Had a busy day today mounting stamps from Elusive Images onto EZ mount - a job I hate, love the stamps, hate the sticky scissors, and then stamping all images onto card to put through the laminator for filing, so made this little card in between each stage to keep me sane.

Craft Room

Hey, this is me, thought I had better get an up to date photo to use for all these blogs I am going to be following, so here I am in my garden, the part that is not over run with huge weeds and grass. Its also the first picture I have with my hair long, I love it, my mum hates it!!!
These two are of my craft area, we bought a new freezer today, bigger than the one we had before the fire, so the utility room has had to be reorganised and I took the bookcase, don't think his lordship will notice! So have had a quick re arrange on the desk and voila.

A card made mixing new and old, Hero Arts stamps and Tim Holtz Distress Inks combined with decoupage and pricking.
The above is a picture of a wall plaque bought from a shop in Keighley, and here is the finished result after I altered it for my Hairdressers 40th birthday gift to put up in her salon, which is pink and black.

My very first attempt at blogging following some very patient instructions from my pal Janet. Thank you. I have done it at last !!!!!!
